What does a Claude Code tutor do?
A Claude Code tutor works alongside you on a live video call while you use Claude Code on your own projects, files and tools. You drive. Your tutor sets it up with you, shows you what to ask for, catches mistakes before they cost you an afternoon, and explains why something worked so you can repeat it alone.
Search for an AI coding tutor and most results are chatbots that quiz you. This is the other kind: a person who teaches you the AI tools. Some people call it Claude Code coaching or mentoring. The format is the same, 1-on-1 and built around real business use cases.
Free tutorials teach the tool on someone else's demo project. Sessions here start from real business use cases: the report rebuilt every Monday, the backlog nobody triages, the deck a manager wants by Friday.
Who hires a Claude Code tutor
Most of our students are not developers. They are working professionals who reached the point where AI tools stopped being optional.
You just started a new role
Your new team runs on Claude, Cowork or Codex and everyone assumes you already know it. You want to get productive fast, without asking basic questions in every meeting.
Your company is switching tools
IT is rolling out Claude, or moving the team off another assistant. You want to learn it properly, inside whatever your security team has approved.
You are job hunting
The roles you want expect fluency in Claude Code, Cursor or Codex. You want real work to point to in the interview, not a video course certificate.
You want to automate the admin
You do not want to become a developer. You want Claude to pull the CRM export, draft the deck, update Confluence and file the ticket, so you can do the part only you can do.
Already a developer? We also teach agentic workflows for engineers. See Agentic AI Code on the courses page.
What your Claude Code lessons cover
Claude Code is the default because it is the strongest tool for this work right now. If your team uses something else, we teach that instead.
Claude Code, from first install
Installing it, setting up VS Code (and WSL on Windows), writing a CLAUDE.md so Claude understands your project, and the habits that keep long sessions on track.
Claude Cowork
The desktop app for non-developers. Work on local files, run multi-step tasks and produce documents without opening a terminal.
Codex and Cursor
If your company standardised on either one, we teach it. If you are still choosing, we compare them on real business use cases, not on marketing claims.
Connecting your work tools
Jira, Confluence, Microsoft 365, GitHub and your CRM, through connectors and MCP. Self-hosted setups need a workaround, and we build it with you.
Cost and usage
Which plan you actually need, how to read your usage, which model to use for which job, and how to stop one big request burning through your limit.
Working safely at work
Keeping credentials out of prompts, staying inside your IT policy, and knowing what your company setup will and will not allow before you build on it.

Founder & Lead Tutor
20+ Years Coding
Hi, I'm Michael.
When I was barely 10 years old, my father, a Computer Science professor, sat me down and taught me my first if statement in C. That one moment changed everything. By the time I reached one of the top engineering schools in the country, I stood out because I could code when most couldn't.
Soon after university, I started teaching the way I had been taught, through structured online courses on Skillshare and Udemy. What began as an experiment grew into over 3 million minutes of my lessons watched by students around the world. But the reviews, however positive, always felt incomplete. Then students started reaching out, asking to learn directly with me.
I was hesitant at first. 1-on-1 does not scale. But the results changed my mind. Students who worked with me directly did not just watch lessons, they built, shipped, and transformed their careers. Demand grew faster than I could handle on my own. That is how AI Tutor Code was born.
Every instructor on our team has been personally trained by me, to teach the way my father taught me, and the thousands of students he mentored at university.

Questions people ask before booking
Packages run from $750 for 10 hours ($75 an hour) to $2,500 for 50 hours ($50 an hour). Gold is 50 hours at $4,800, taught personally by our founder Michael, and adds AI architecture, model evaluation and applied projects based on real business use cases. Hours never expire, only live session time is counted, and you can upgrade later and pay only the difference. Your Claude subscription is separate from tutoring.
No. Most of our students are not developers, and many start with zero coding experience. We assess your level on the Discovery Call and build from there. We start with the AI tools directly and only add Python later if your goals call for it.
For most people, no. Claude Code comes with a paid Claude plan, and for most people a flat subscription is enough, so there is nothing to track. Token billing only applies if you use the API directly. Sessions cover how to read your usage, which model to use for which job, and how to avoid burning through your limits, so the cost stops being a mystery.
We work inside whatever your IT team has approved. If you have Claude Code but not Cowork, almost everything a non-developer wants from Cowork is still available. If you only have API access through a company gateway, the desktop app goes away but the terminal path still works. If your internal tools are self-hosted, the standard connectors will not reach them, so we build a different route. We are honest up front about what your setup will and will not allow.
Yes. Cloud versions of Jira, Confluence, Microsoft 365 and GitHub connect directly. Self-hosted and Data Center setups usually need a workaround, and we build one together during your sessions.
Yours. Sessions are online over video, so location does not matter. They fit around your working day: mornings, evenings, lunch breaks or weekends. You choose your timezone when you book the Discovery Call, and most students keep one standing weekly slot.
For Claude Cowork, no. You can use the desktop app straight away. For Claude Code, we set up VS Code together in an early session, because it is far more efficient for building. On Windows that also means setting up WSL, and we do that with you rather than leaving you to figure it out.
Yes, and the free resources are good. A tutor is worth it when you are short on time, when your setup is not the one in the tutorial, or when you need Claude Code applied to real business use cases rather than a demo project. The Discovery Call is free, so you can find out which camp you are in before spending anything.
No. Every session is 1-on-1 and live with your dedicated tutor. There are no cohorts and no pre-recorded course to work through alone.
