Frequently Asked Questions
How long is each session?
Each session is typically 1 hour, online over video. That is the ideal length to stay focused and make real progress without it eating into your workday. Sessions are a mix of instruction, hands-on building, and questions, and you set the pace.
How often should I take sessions?
Most students do 1 to 2 sessions per week. Consistency matters more than intensity. We agree a cadence on the Discovery Call based on your goals and timeline, and it is easy to change later as your schedule shifts.
What counts as a billed hour?
Only the time we spend live together. Nothing is counted while you work on your own between sessions, and nothing is counted for the preparation done before each session. If we are not on a call with screens shared, it does not come out of your hours.
Do packages expire?
Never. The hours you purchase are yours to use at whatever pace works for you. Pause for vacations, busy seasons at work, or anything else. Your hours will be waiting when you come back.
Can I switch between courses?
Absolutely. Your hours are not tied to a specific course. If you start with Python and want to explore AI tools, we pivot seamlessly. Many students explore multiple topics.
What if we need to cancel or reschedule?
We ask for 12 to 24 hours notice before cancelling or rescheduling. Emergencies and honest one-offs are always understood. We do ask that if cancellations become a recurring pattern, we have a conversation. Our tutors hold those slots, and other students may be waiting for them.
Is there a free trial?
We start with a free 15-minute Discovery Call. That is typically enough to know we are the right fit. A single stand-alone session before committing to a package is possible, though most students move straight to a package after the call.
Can I split the payment across months?
Yes, payment can be split across multiple months depending on the package. It is flexible and something we are happy to discuss on the Discovery Call. Returning students especially have a lot of flexibility here.
Can I upgrade my package later?
Absolutely. Many students start with the 10-hour Starter pack to try things out, love it, and then upgrade to the 50-hour package. When you upgrade, you only pay the difference. The hours you already purchased count toward the new package.
